A Little Bit About Me
Much of my career has been spent negotiating large-scale public sector infrastructure technology projects and working with global start-ups on establishing and growing their U.S. operations. Currently, as the founder and principal consultant at FirstAID Labs, my team and I help area nonprofits forge relationships with the philanthropic world and share best practicesto build capacity in order to better serve all segments of the community.
Born and raised in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, I grew up with a passion for politics and civic engagement working on student council campaigns and local, state, and Federal elections through high school and college. After graduating from The George Washington University with a B.A. in Economics and Japanese Studies, I landed my first job in Tokyo with a global trading conglomerate in project finance.
Calling San Carlos home for over twenty years, I am raising my three children Martin, Jianna, and Sebastian and our rescued paw pal April. In my spare time, I’m active in our community, shuttling among my kids' activities and volunteering with area nonprofits: Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, One Life Counseling Center, Each Green Corner, and the San Carlos PTA.
